Early Career Teachers (ECTs) – Primary Schools
Location: Southampton
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time Opportunities Available
Pay: Daily Supply Rates from £125–£135 per day

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a range of primary schools across Southampton to recruit enthusiastic and motivated ECTs for September starts. Whether you are looking to gain experience through supply work or secure a longer-term placement, we can help you find the right opportunity to build your confidence and develop your career.

The Role
As an ECT working through Teaching Personnel, you will:
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Develop classroom confidence and behaviour management skills
• Gain valuable experience across different school settings
• Receive support as you progress through your early teaching career
We Are Looking For Candidates Who:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or will achieve QTS before September 2026
• Are passionate about primary education and supporting pupil progress
• Have a positive, proactive, and adaptable approach
• Are eager to gain experience and grow professionally
• Can create an inclusive and engaging learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
