Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Technology looking to start your teaching career in a dynamic and supportive environment?

Our client, a progressive and inclusive academy based in Braintree, Essex, is seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Technology ECT to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to develop their practice in a school that values creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning.

About the Role:

  • Teaching KS3 and KS4 Design and Technology (specialisms considered, e.g., Product Design, Graphics, Resistant Materials, or Food Technology)

  • Delivering engaging, practical-based lessons in well-equipped workshops and classrooms

  • Collaborating with an experienced and supportive department

  • Benefiting from a dedicated mentor and comprehensive ECT induction programme

  • Access to ongoing professional development and training

About You:

  • A qualified Technology teacher (or due to qualify by July 2025)

  • Passionate about inspiring students through practical and creative teaching

  • Committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and safety

  • A team player eager to contribute to the department and school community

  • Able to motivate students of all abilities and backgrounds
