‍ Early Career Teacher (ECT) Opportunities – Nottingham

Location: Across Nottingham and surrounding areas
Start Date: ASAP / September 2025
Contract: Full-time or part-time | Supply and long-term roles available
Pay: £140 – £162 per day (dependent on role and experience)

At Teaching Personnel, we’re working closely with a number of fantastic primary schools across Nottingham who are looking to support and welcome Early Career Teachers (ECTs) from September 2025.

Whether you’re keen to secure your first full-time class role, or you’d like to gain experience in different schools and year groups before committing, we can help you find the right fit.

This is a great chance to:

  • Build your confidence in the classroom

  • Discover which key stage suits you best

  • Get a proper feel for a school’s culture and expectations

  • Gain valuable experience that supports your induction year

What to expect:

  • Work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 – you choose your preferred year groups

  • Day-to-day supply, short-term cover or longer-term class roles available

  • A flexible, low-pressure way to build experience and get your foot in the door

  • Opportunities in supportive schools, with experienced mentors and leadership teams

✅ What we’re looking for:

  • You’ve completed your teacher training and hold QTS (or are due to finish soon)

  • You're enthusiastic, reliable, and ready to get stuck in

  • You’re open to trying different settings to see what suits you

  • Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude in the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
