EAL Tutor

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking an EAL tutor to work on a freelance basis with looked after children through the local authority, within the Manchester area. You will be expected to be familiar with both the GCSE and Functional Skills Curriculum, having a proven record of delivering both curriculums and working with a variety of abilities.

The candidate

The ideal candidate will have an outgoing and resilient personality, and be able to work on their own initiative in regards to ensuring that health and safety procedures are met, and the welfare of the children. You will ideally have experience of working on a 1:1 with a variety of ability levels, from GCSE to Functional Skills. The ideal candidate will need a proven track record in teaching, and have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised TEFL or TESOL certificate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
