Position: EAL Lead
Location: Poole, Dorset
Type: Full-time
About the Role: As an EAL Lead, you will play an integral role in the day-to-day running and maintenance of the EAL framework. Your primary responsibility will be to support EAL pupils as they transition into the school and to monitor and track their progress. This role is perfect for someone highly organised and committed to ensuring every student fulfils their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive learning support to EAL students.
- Monitor and track student progress, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
- Work within a classroom setting, supporting the learning of our students.
- Support our Inclusion interventions, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Enthusiasm and Passion: Bring energy and a positive attitude to the classroom.
- Resilience and Commitment: Dedication to supporting each student’s educational journey.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to engage with young people and build positive relationships.
- Excellent Maths and English Skills: Equivalent to GCSE grade C or above.
- Sense of Humour: An essential quality to create a lively and engaging learning environment.
- Organisational Skills: Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
Desirable but Not Essential:
- Previous experience in a school setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
