Job description

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Design Technology Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools. This is a full-time role teaching Design Technology at KS3 and KS4, with the chance to specialise in resistant materials, product design, graphics, or creative technologies.

The school is supportive and community-focused, with clear systems in place to help staff succeed. Behaviour can be challenging, but the role is rewarding for teachers who are confident, resilient, and enthusiastic about engaging students in practical, creative learning.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT with strong subject knowledge.

  • Excellent classroom management and adaptability.

  • Enthusiasm for creative, hands-on teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
