DT Teacher Person Specification:
For this post, you must be a dynamic and qualified DT Teacher or NQT who has been acknowledged as a 'Good' or better teacher in observations and has a motivational presence about you. The school's perfect DT Teacher will be able to create a fun, vibrant place of learning that facilitates outstanding levels of achievement. You should have a teaching style that adopts a positive and filters to your class. We want to meet a DT Teacher who can raise and maintain high expectations within their class and balance fun with hard work in their lessons.
About the DT Teacher Role:
As a DT Teacher, your role will involve you moving into an especially innovative Design and Technology Department. The school is open to your specialism within DT and can adapt the timetable to your strengths and requirements. You will be expected to teach the subject to GCSE as a minimum and have experience of working in a collaborative and fun team. A fully comprehensive induction scheme will be offered to NQTs, while experienced DT Teachers will have access to extensive CPD to develop their personal profiles.
