The school’s DT Department has fantastic facilities, offering Graphics, Resistant Materials, Textiles and Food Technology to KS3 - > KS4 students.

The Head of DT is looking for a DT Teacher / DT NQT / Teacher of DT for a September 2020 start. This DT Teacher / DT NQT / Teacher of DT job opportunity will involve you teaching your subject/subjects of choice to KS3 - > KS4 students on a full-time and permanent basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• DT Teacher / DT NQT / Teacher of DT
• KS3 – KS4 Teaching Design Technology
• Open to Textiles, Graphics, Resistant Materials & Food Technology
• TLRs available for experienced teachers
• NQT induction: SLT & Subject Mentor, Aims and Objectives set from day 1, lesson observations and in and out of house training
• Delivering engaging and creative DT lessons
• Inspiring young minds and helping them develop
• Permanent Contract – Full Time – September 2020

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have UK QTS – Or being the process of obtaining (Teacher Training)
• Strong academics required throughout – GCSEs, A Levels and Degree
• You must be able to work effectively within a team of DT Teachers
• Must be willing to learn and develop as a DT Teacher
• Strong understanding of the Teaching Standards required
