DT / Engineering Teacher – Durham

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for an Engineering specialist to join the DT department of a highly successful secondary school based in Durham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Planning work in accordance with departmental schemes of work and national curriculum programmes of study
• Taking account of pupils’ prior levels of attainment and using these to set future targets
•  Setting work when required for absent pupils
• Maintaining good discipline by following the school’s pupil disciplinary policies and procedures
• Establishing a purposeful working atmosphere during all learning activities
•  Setting appropriate and challenging work for all pupils
