At Teaching Personnel, we are looking for skilled and enthusiastic Drama Teachers to work in schools across Northampton and nearby regions for the upcoming academic year. We offer a variety of contracts, including short-term supply, long-term roles, and full- or part-time opportunities—ideal for teachers seeking flexibility and variety.

We support a network of mainstream and specialist schools that value the arts as a key part of their curriculum. Your role will be to foster a safe and expressive environment where students can explore identity, culture, and creativity through drama.

As a Drama Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons based on the national curriculum.

  • Help students develop confidence, teamwork, and public speaking skills.

  • Lead or support extracurricular productions, performances, and drama clubs.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • QTS or relevant teaching/industry experience.

  • A background in performing arts, theatre, or drama education.

  • A passion for nurturing talent and encouraging creative thinking.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
