Teacher of Drama – Secondary
Location: Corby
Start Date: January 2026 (or ASAP)
Contract: Full Time | Long-term
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Teaching Personnel are delighted to be supporting a vibrant and creative secondary school in Corby who are seeking an energetic and inspiring Teacher of Drama to join their Performing Arts department from January 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate drama specialist to bring performance, creativity, and confidence-building into the classroom while contributing to a thriving arts community within the school.

The Role

  • Teaching Drama across KS3–KS4

  • Planning and delivering exciting, practical and theory-based lessons

  • Supporting school productions, performances, and extra-curricular clubs

  • Encouraging students to develop confidence, teamwork and creative expression

  • Taking an active part in departmental and whole-school initiatives

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or appropriate teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching Drama at secondary level

  • Strong behaviour management and organisational skills

  • Enthusiasm to participate in wider school life and events
