This school provides a tailored education journey to the needs of their children with profound multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). Qualifications are not essential, however, experience/interest with pupils with complex special educational needs would be an advantage.
With 3 specialist campuses working with the ages of 4 to 19, the school are able to provide above and beyond care specific to each child’s needs as set out in their Educational Health Care Plans with high quality facilities. Alongside providing an education, the aim and purpose of the provision is to support pupils to address any emotional, behavioural and physical difficulties which affect their development and to help them develop resilience. This could include sensory play, physiotherapy, communication interventions, speech & language support and more! As most children have severe or profound learning difficulties, an element of personal care and medicine administration will be involved.
- Trowbridge (accessible from Melksham, Westbury, Frome and surrounding areas)
- Hours: 8:30-3:30 (Monday to Friday)
- Pay: £11.85 hourly/£77 daily (6.5 hours with a half hour unpaid lunch break)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
