Design and Technology Teacher – Christchurch
Full-Time | Starting After October Half-Term
A thriving secondary school in Christchurch is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Design and Technology Teacher to join their dedicated team on a full-time basis from after October half-term. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire creativity, innovation and practical problem-solving in students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across a range of Design and Technology disciplines, fostering a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to think independently and develop their technical and design skills. The school is well-resourced, with modern facilities that support a broad and dynamic D&T curriculum, including product design, resistant materials and graphics.
The ideal applicant will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Have experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary level, ideally across KS3 and KS4.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of curriculum requirements and assessment methods.

Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.

Inspire and motivate students of all abilities to achieve their potential.

Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and its community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
