Location: Enfield, North East London
Salary: Leadership Scale (Outer London) L6 – L10 + Teachers’ Pension Scheme
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 or January 2026

Our client, a forward-thinking and inclusive 11–18 secondary school and sixth form based in Enfield, is seeking to appoint a dynamic Deputy Head of Sixth Form with subject leadership responsibilities and a teaching commitment in Business and Economics. This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in shaping the future of Sixth Form provision while contributing to an ambitious and successful Enterprise Faculty.
About the Role:
As Deputy Head of Sixth Form, you will work closely with the Head of Sixth Form and senior leaders to promote academic excellence, personal development, and student wellbeing across Years 12 and 13. You will lead by example in the classroom, delivering high-quality Business and Economics lessons and supporting subject development within the Enterprise Faculty, which includes Computer Science and Business Studies.
The successful candidate will join a team of committed and enthusiastic staff who are dedicated to ensuring all students achieve outstanding outcomes. You will benefit from the support of experienced curriculum leaders and access to a wide range of teaching resources and professional development.

What They're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status and significant experience teaching Business and/or Economics

Proven leadership skills and the ability to inspire and support both students and staff

A track record of improving student outcomes at Key Stage 5 (KS5)

A passion for inclusive education and empowering all students to succeed

Excellent organisational, communication, and pastoral care skills
