Inspire Movement, Creativity and Confidence – Dance Teacher Wanted in Folkestone

Teaching Personnel, the UK’s leading education recruitment agency, is working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in Folkestone to appoint a dedicated and energetic Dance Teacher. The Role:

  • Teach Dance across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available depending on experience)

  • Deliver engaging, dynamic lessons that develop technique, performance, and choreographic skills

  • Support students in preparing for assessments, showcases, and school performances

  • Contribute to the wider performing arts department and lead extracurricular activities such as dance clubs and productions

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • A degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related discipline

  • Strong technical and theoretical knowledge of dance styles and curriculum

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

  • Passion for inspiring students through movement and performance

  • ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
