Daily Secondary supply teachers needed for Sept in BD12

My client is a BD12 based Secondary school with links to a cluster of schools with in their trust. The school is a mixed all-through school for pupils aged 3 to 19. I am looking for Teacher and Cover Supervisors who are looking for daily supply roles and longer term roles.The perfect candidates will share the values and ethos of the school community, with a passion for quality teaching and a love of learning. It is important that the suitable candidates are able to create a happy, safe learning environment with the confidence and ability to develop confident and self-assured learners.

The school is easily accessible by car and public transport alike, with easy commuting distance from Leeds, Skipton, Harrogate and other towns across West Yorkshire.

Your role as a Daily Supply Teacher or Cover Supervisor would typically be required either in advance or as 'last minute' replacements. Generally the tasks vary from day-to-day, which is a great way to get the transferable experience to either kick start you're teaching career or simply add to your skill set and background. These Schools are well-established in the Bradford area.

Confident Graduates open to work as a Cover Supervisor are also very welcome to apply. Job duties could include, delivering pre-prepared lessons and the associated work, behavioural management of pupils, supervising work and adhering to school policies, dealing with immediate problems and emergencies according to school policies and procedures, collecting completed work and returning to appropriate teacher

To be considered for this role, ideally you will:

  • Have experience working with secondary age students in some capacity whether voluntary or paid
  • Be a recent graduate looking to continue your development within the education sector.
  • Have flexible availability and be able to work within an ever changing environment
  • Have the ability to use public transport or have their own vehicle
  • Experience leading and delivering planned work to groups of children aged 11 +
  • The ability to manage challenging behaviour
  • A calm and punctual manner - excellent time keeping
  • A fully enhanced DBS certificate on the DBS update service (can be applied for through Teaching Personnel)

Our clients are in BD12. They have easy access to public transport. They are also only a short bus ride from the city centre. We also offer excellent additional training in our own CPD academy to support professional development
