Job description

Teaching Personnel work with a number of schools in North and East Cornwall to supply teachers for cover in schools. We are currently looking for secondary school teachers to carry out frequent and regular supply days.

Our partner schools are looking for teachers who can deliver the curriculum in creative and interesting ways to maximise engagement and raise standards. You will be required to deliver work as set by the class teacher, manage the class, ensure the students are kept on task and achieve the lesson objective.

Due to the nature of this work, we would like to hear from teachers who are flexible and happy to fit in new environments. You will be positive natured and enthusiastic to work in new schools.

Experience of teaching across all key stages is desirable, with experience of KS5 particularly advantageous. Ideally, you will hold QTS, but, we have been instructed that some of our schools are willing to accept applications from enthusiastic and dedicated NQTs.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
