Cover Teachers

Cover Teacher required in Tonbridge to work in a range of primary or secondary schools. Are you a qualified teacher who would like the flexibility of working on supply? The role of a Cover Teacher Supervisor consists in being in charge of the classroom in the absence of a teacher. You do not need to be a qualified teacher for this role, but a university degree and some experience in working with young people would be an advantage.

You will be required to supervise the work set by teaching staff for classes of students during the short-term absence of the regular teachers. In addition, you will also be asked to provide some practical support in the classroom as a teaching assistant at times.

For the roles of Cover Teacher Supervisor, you can expect to be paid between GBP10-GBP25 per hour depending on your qualifications and experience. Teaching Personnel offers weekly pay on PAYE, access to exclusive CPD courses and a personable and reliable approach to supply work.
