Cover Teacher

A school in South Manchester is seeking a Supply Teacher to join the team on a temporary basis. 

An individual is required to work on a Cover Supervisor/Supply Teacher basis. The role does not involve any planning/marking, but does involve:

• Managing Behaviour.
• Delivering pre set tasks.
• Covering for staff absences due to the ongoing pandemic. 

Requirements for this position are as follows:

• QTS.
• Experience delivering lessons to large class sizes.

Highlights of this position are as follows:

• Covering lessons due to staff absence.
• Effectively managing behaviour, whilst also ensuring that students are consistently adhering to school policy.
• Offering guidance and support within the classroom, actively dealing with any issues of a pastoral nature.
• Looking to actively imrpove pupil engagement within the classroom, working in collaboration with support staff when necessary. 
• Implementing strategies designed to engage students.

• Located in South Manchester, the role will focus on the delivery of lessons from pre set tasks.
• There are numerous public transport links located close by.
• Motorway junctions also located in close proximity of the school site.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
