What is a Cover Supervisor?

Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
-
Supporting pupils with their learning and responding to questions

Collecting completed work and passing it back to subject teachers
-
Reporting any concerns or incidents through the school’s referral systems
This is a highly rewarding role that gives you genuine classroom leadership experience, without the pressures of planning or assessment.

Experience in care or behaviour support
Key skills:
✔️ Confidence to lead a class independently
