Are you looking for a rewarding role in education? We are seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to work in partnership with mainstream secondary schools across the Crosby area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are confident, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young people in their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Classroom Supervision: Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain on task and engaged.
• Behaviour Management: Maintain a positive and safe learning environment by following school behaviour policies and managing classroom conduct effectively.
• Lesson Delivery: Support students with their learning, clarify instructions, and encourage participation.
• Adaptability: Work across different subjects and year groups, adapting to varying school environments and expectations.
• Reporting: Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and any issues encountered during cover sessions.
• Safeguarding: Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection at all times.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working in a school setting (essential).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students and staff quickly.
• Flexible and reliable, with a proactive approach to work.
• Knowledge of the UK secondary curriculum is desirable but not essential.
