The Youth worker role involves supporting a range of students within a secondary school, covering lessons within a variety of different subjects in the absence of the classroom teacher. All the work will be pre-prepared however excellent classroom management is essential.

This is the ideal opportunity for Graduates who are looking to gain valuable teaching experience before undertaking their PGCE in the future. You will be given the opportunity to experience the role of a classroom teacher without having a teacher qualification.

With the new academic year underway the Headteacher of our client's secondary school is looking to appoint a Youth Worker to support their team of staff, when there is an absence. They are seeking a Youth Worker who has previous experience working within a learning environment with young students and are available to work flexible working hours on a day to day basis.
