Cover Supervisor - Unqualified Teacher (Cardiff)

Often, new candidates are confused by the concept of cover supervisor supply work - Essential it is the ideal work for any Future Teachers and we are now working with a number of schools to support out future Teachers programme.

As an outline; you would be employed by Teaching Personnel to work in Secondary schools in the absence of a teacher (subject knowledge not essential).

Our Schools are ever dependant on our cover supervisors to help the everyday smooth running of the school. In the event of a Teacher becoming absent, our cover supervisors will often be called in to help. The ideal candidate will be able look after the already planned delivery of lessons and will have excellent behaviour management skills.

This means that you represent Teaching Personnel on any placement you go into; we get regular feedback from schools on your work, therefore the higher the standard of your work whilst in a school will increase your chances of further work down the line. This feedback can be paramount to your future PGCE application as good feedback can stand you apart from your competitors.

You will be required to cover lessons across the curriculum in the absence of the Class Teacher. You will be supported by an excellent team who are passionate about helping young people to succeed. This would be an excellent role for a graduate looking to go into Teaching in the future, or someone who simply has great behaviour management skills.
