Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (Supply Basis)

Salary: £100–£130 per day (dependent on experience)

 

About the Role

We are looking for an adaptable and confident Supply Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in Hull. This is a full-time temporary role offering a great opportunity to gain classroom experience in a range of school environments.

As a Supply Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons during teacher absences, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive and focused classroom atmosphere. This role is perfect for individuals considering a career in education or seeking flexible experience across different subjects and year groups.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects.

  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.

  • Support pupils in completing work and staying engaged.

  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.

  • Represent the agency and schools professionally at all times.

 

Requirements

  • A genuine interest in education and supporting young people.

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

  • Confidence to lead classes independently.

  • Experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.

  • Degree or background in any subject area welcome.

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
