Cover supervisor Stockport

Are you a graduate looking to gain school based experience prior to starting a teacher training or PGCE programme? Graduates considering a teaching as a profession or those looking to change careers, cover supervising is the perfect opportunity.

Cover supervisors take on the role of a teacher for the day delivering set lessons left by the absent teachers, where you will be provided with the opportunity to teach in front of classes of up to 30 students per class.

Within Tameside we work with schools in the areas of Denton, Audenshaw, Ashton, Hyde, Stalybridge, Dukinfield and Mossley. Dependant on your work schedule and availability we can provide opportunities that are day to day or a fixed block placement for up to 1 academic year.

Key features of the cover supervisor role;

**First hand experience to support a teacher training application

**Weekly pay paid through PAYE up to £350 per week

**Opportunity to work in different secondary schools throughout Tameside

**Access to Teaching Personnel's training and development courses

Essential criteria for the role;

**Passion for education and a desire to get into Teaching

**University degree or relatable qualifications

**Work based or educational references

**Application for a fully enhanced BDS certificate
