Job Title: Cover Supervisor – SEMH Support (Blackpool)

Location: Across Blackpool
Contract: Flexible, Ad-Hoc
Daily Pay Rate: £89.38 - £100

We're looking for a dynamic and reliable Cover Supervisor to support specialist SEMH provisions across Blackpool on a flexible, ad-hoc basis. This role involves delivering pre-set lessons and providing vital SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) support, ensuring every student has the chance to thrive in a supportive and structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across various subjects, primarily focusing on core curriculum areas (English, Maths, Science).
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and confidently.
  • Offering pastoral and emotional support to students with SEMH needs.
  • Ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Liaising with teaching staff and school leadership as required.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Confident with classroom and behaviour management strategies.
  • Strong subject knowledge, especially in English, Maths, and Science.
  • Experience supporting young people with SEMH is highly desirable.
  • Adaptable, dependable, and comfortable working in different school settings.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
