Teaching Personnel are working in collaboration with a large mixed comprehensive secondary school located in central Bury. Due to an increased demand for cover staff this academic year, the school have a full-time position available for a Cover Supervisor to join their support staff team. The school require a Cover Supervisor to work with them on a full-time temporary basis, covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher, initially until the end of the academic year 2021.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience prior to completing a future teacher training programme.

- Large mixed comprehensive Secondary school located within the Bury LEA
- Temporary position, with the opportunity to secure a fixed term post
- Earn up to GBP350 per week, depending upon previous experience
- Opportunity of further development through CPD training
The successful Cover Supervisor will be required on a full time basis from 8.30am until the end of the school day each day. Responsibilities include covering lessons when permanent staff are absent through sickness, ensuring behaviour policies are followed and students are completing the cover work that has been left for them. There will be expectations that the successful Cover Supervisor will cover lessons across the subject and ability range so flexibility and confidence is essential.
Cover Supervisors will receive full support and have the opportunity to partake in regular CPD training sessions, delivered through partner schools across Greater Manchester.
It is essential that interested Cover Supervisors have previous experience working with children and young people. Behaviour management experience is also desired for this position.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
