Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit day-to-day Cover Supervisors across South Manchester, to work in secondary schools local to you, as soon a possible! The role is temporary/as and when required but there is currently enough work available for those wanting both full-time hours or part-time hours.
Cover Supervisor role and responsibilities:
- Covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Delivering pre-set work to a class of pupils and supervising them with this.
- Managing the behaviour of pupils to ensure completion of the pre-set work.
- Answering any questions the pupils may have about the work set.
- Collecting the completed work at the end of the lesson and returning it to the designated teacher/member of staff.
- Reporting and raising any issues appropriately, in line with the school's policies which you will be briefed on.
