(Hiring multiple candidates)

Location: Kettering
 Salary: £80 – £89.38 per day (dependent on experience)
 Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (may vary by up to 45 minutes), Monday–Friday, term time only
Contract: Full-time

About the Role

We’re seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming, inclusive school in Kettering. In this role, you’ll work closely with children with SEN, providing the support they need both in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1:1 or small-group support for pupils with SEN.
  • Assist learning during lessons, as well as at break and lunchtimes.
  • Support the class teacher with daily activities.
  • Help keep the classroom safe, organised, and engaging.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all pupils.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working with SEN children (desirable, not essential).
  • Be patient, reliable, and committed to supporting young people.
  • Show initiative and a proactive approach — a must.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS (Update Service).
  • Have permanent UK residency (essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
