Cover Supervisor

Are you passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? Do you have experience working in education or supporting children with additional needs? We are looking for dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our supportive network of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be stepping into a vital role, leading small classes of approximately 8–10 students with diverse needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), Autism, ADHD, and more. The lessons will be pre-planned and resourced by the class teacher — your job is to deliver engaging sessions and support students to stay on track with their learning.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working in education is essential (e.g. as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Mentor, or Sports Coach).
  • Confidence in managing a classroom and adapting to varying needs.
  • Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEND.
  • Ability to follow a structured lesson plan and promote a positive learning environment.

Ideal Candidates May Have:

  • Backgrounds in sports coaching, youth work, or classroom support.
  • Understanding of SEN strategies and behaviour support techniques.
  • A calm, proactive, and flexible approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
