Our client secondary school is currently looking for a reliable and flexible member of staff who can help out when cover and support is required in the classroom. The school would prefer a member of staff who is able to work full-time however, this is not essential as flexible working hours can be arranged.

A cover supervisor role involves stepping in to cover pre-set lesson plans whilst supervising the classroom and ensuring all safeguarding and behaviour policies are followed. This type of role, also known as unqualified teaching, is the perfect role for someone who requires flexible working hours as both full-time and part-time hours can be made available. You will be paid a competitive wage of up to GBP60 per day, depending on your previous experience and the responsibilities that you are given.

In order to be considered for this position, previous experience supporting children or young people is required. Any particular experience as a cover supervisor or delivering lessons previously is desirable, not essential. No specific teaching qualification is required as all work will be set and you will simply be required to deliver the work whilst you supervise the classroom whilst keeping behaviour standrads high.

Our client school is based in Worsley, in between Bolton and Salford and is accessible via the M62 and A580 from surronding areas of Greater Manchester. For applicants who don't drive, the school is also accessible via several forms of public transport from neighbouring areas such as Bolton, Salford and central Manchester.
