Opportunity for graduates, hoping to pursue a career in teaching, to gain valuable experience towards a PGCE application.

  • Full-time and part-time positions (including flexible work) available in secondary schools near Bolton.
  • Work available to start as soon as possible.
  • Earn up to £360 per week, depending on your experience and the roles and responsibilities involved.

Responsibilities of a cover supervisor include:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons/work covering a teacher’s absence.
  • Facilitate learning across varying levels of ability within specific subjects.
  • Supporting children aged 11-16.
  • Gain invaluable experience towards teaching training applications.

Application Requirements

  • Any transferrable experience working with children/young people is required.
  • You do not need a teaching qualification.

Our client schools are based near Bolton and are easily accessible via the M66 and A56 from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester. Our client school can also be accessed via several public transportation links from the surrounding areas including Bury, Farnworth, Worsley and Horwich.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
