Cover Supervisor

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a vibrant and positive Cover Supervisor who ideally has experience working in Secondary schools.

We are recruiting on behalf of fantastic schools in Worthing who require Cover Supervisors to cover different subjects throughout the day in the teacher’s absence.

To be successful in this role, it is important to have good classroom management as you will be the sole adult responsible for the class.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-respected school and support in the development of the students, as well as learning key behaviour techniques that can help develop your career. 

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Creating a positive learning environment 
  • Using diverse teaching strategies to meet student needs.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress
  • Collaborating with colleagues for school improvement
  • Building rapport with staff and students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent in English
  • Passion for teaching and motivating students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative and positive team player

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
