Full-time Cover Supervisor/Unqualified teacher required for a small secondary school in Ince, Wigan.

The school have highlighted a specific need within their support department and now wish to appoint a Cover Supervisor who will be based within the school on a full-time basis in order to cover lessons in the absence of the main classroom teacher.

This position is due to commence on the schools return from the UK national lockdown.

  • Cover Supervisor/Unqualified teaching – Full-time position.
  • Enhanced DBS required to be considered for this role – This can be applied directly through Teaching Personnel.
  • Competitive pay rates with the opportunity to earn up to GBP300 a week.

The schools Headteacher has highlighted that it is desirable for the incoming member of staff to have experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role where they have lead groups of students in the age range of 11-16.

The incoming member of staff will be enthusiastic and passionate about a career in education and will be confident when delivering a pre-planned lesson ensuring that students complete the work that has been set.

Our client secondary school is;

  • Smaller than the average Secondary school with 680 students currently enrolled.
  • Situated in the centre of Wigan – With good public transport links.
  • Lead by newly appointed Senior Leaders looking to continue in recent improvements of the school.
  • Easily accessed by car and has onsite car parking for staff working within the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
