Job description

Cover Supervisors – Secondary Schools in Warrington

Secondary schools across Warrington are looking to expand their pool of Cover Supervisors to ensure consistent classroom support throughout the academic year.

We’re offering flexible supply roles that can fit around your availability – whether you’re free 2 or 5 days a week.

Start date: As soon as possible
Pay: £89.38 to £95 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, using pre-prepared resources

  • Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment

  • Support pupils to stay on task and complete their work

  • Manage behaviour in line with school policies

  • Work closely with teaching staff to help raise pupil achievement

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with young people in a secondary school setting

  • A degree and/or classroom-based experience is essential

  • Strong classroom presence and good communication skills

  • A flexible, proactive approach to supporting different schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
