Job Opportunity: Full-Time Cover Supervisor

Position: Full-Time Cover Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume responsibility for supervising and managing classrooms in the absence of teachers.
  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans across various subjects, ensuring a smooth continuation of learning.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student engagement and participation.
  • Manage student behaviour effectively and consistently.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, providing guidance and support when needed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including taking attendance and collecting homework.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure a seamless educational experience for students.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • The ability to adapt to different classroom environments and establish rapport with students.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Availability to work during school hours (this can be flexible depending on how many days a week you would like).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
