Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a variety of secondary schools in South Yorkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, or individuals with strong classroom management skills looking to gain valuable experience within education.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain engaged with the work provided and maintaining a positive learning environment.
The Role:
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a range of subjects
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Support students in completing assigned work
- Maintain a safe and productive classroom environment
- Work flexibly across schools in South Yorkshire
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people is desirable
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Confidence leading a classroom
- Flexible, adaptable, and professional approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
