Cover Supervisor required to work on a flexible basis across our client Secondary Schools.

Salisbury and the surrounding areas.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for keeping the whole class on task in the teacher's absence. You will keep the children engaged with work set by their usual class teacher, managing behaviour appropriately. You will cover across all subject areas and be in different classes throughout the day. You can work on a flexible basis, using your online diary to communicate when you would like to work - this works well around existing commitments and University if you are still studying. If you would like something full time or longer term, we have a number of schools who are looking to appoint someone to their school directly. 

We can provide training and shadow days; you do not need to have prior experience working as a Cover Supervisor. Ideally, we would be seeking Graduates who would be interested in teaching in the future, however we will accept applicants from other fields.

To be a Cover Supervisor I am looking for:

  • A recent University Graduate with a Secondary subject degree
  • A current Cover Supervisor who has front of the class experience
  • A youth worker or coach who again has experience of working with children
  • A Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step up

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
