Cover Supervisor

This is a great opportunity to gain invaluable classroom experience prior to applying for a teacher training programme.

• Full-time and flexible part-time cover supervisor positions at secondary school in Salford.
• Work available ASAP and in September.
• Earn up to GBP350 per week.
• Delivering pre-set work and leading classing in the absence of teachers.
• Supporting the learning of pupils across all subject areas.

Application requirements

• Educated to degree level.
• Any experience with children or young people is necessary with specific experience in  the education sector being ideal.
• You do not need a teaching qualification.

Within this role the successful applicants will hold several responsibilities including covering a range of classes with pupils varying in ages (11-16) and ability. You will be covering pre-set lessons in the absence of teachers with all work being provided beforehand. You be simply be supervising the lesson, ensuring all pupils complete the tasks set whilst promoting positive behaviour management.

Our client school is in Bury and can be accessed via the M62 motorway and several forms of public transport from areas such as Bolton, Prestwich, and central Manchester.
