Cover Supervisor – Secondary School (Rye)

Location: Rye, East Sussex
Pay: £110 – £120 per day

We are recruiting Cover Supervisors for secondary schools in Rye, providing essential classroom support and ensuring pupils remain engaged in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise KS3 and KS4 classes during teacher absence

• Deliver lesson instructions clearly and confidently

• Promote positive behaviour and respectful classroom conduct

• Monitor student progress during lessons and provide feedback

• Follow school safeguarding, behaviour, and attendance procedures

• Support pupils with varying learning needs

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a secondary school or similar setting

• Calm, professional, and approachable manner

• Strong behaviour management skills

• Flexibility to work on a day-to-day or longer-term basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
