Cover Supervisor – Full-Time – Poole – September Start
A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Poole is seeking a dedicated and confident Cover Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis from September.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain on task and complete the work set. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in education or a strong interest in working with young people in a school setting. Key responsibilities include:

Managing the classroom and maintaining a positive learning environment in the teacher’s absence

Delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring pupils stay engaged and focused

Providing feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

Supporting the school’s policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour management
The ideal candidate will have:

Experience working with secondary-aged students, ideally in a school or educational setting

Strong classroom management skills and the confidence to lead lessons independently

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A genuine interest in education and supporting young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
