Cover Supervisor Opportunity in Plymouth

Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced HLTA/Cover Supervisor to join our team in Plymouth. This term-time role runs from Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:30pm.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Oversee lessons planned by the teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour
  • Ensure students stay on task and complete their work
  • Encourage and support pupils to reach their full potential

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Follow and implement lesson plans
  • Align with the school’s timetable
  • Collect and organize completed student work

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum degree level education
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
  • A passion for helping every child achieve beyond their expectations
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding
  • Determination to promote positive progress and high aspirations for students
  • Commitment to nurturing children’s happiness and enjoyment of school and life
  • Enthusiasm, a good sense of humour, and ability to build positive relationships with pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
