Job description

Are you looking for a flexible and rewarding role in a secondary school setting? We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of fantastic secondary schools in Oldham. This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking adaptable work, valuable school experience, or a pathway into teaching.

As a cover supervisor you will play a role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising and managing classroom behaviour in the absence of the teacher.

You’ll have access to our full CPD library, offering expert-led training and courses — including Cover Supervisor Level Up sessions and Thrive — helping you develop confidence and classroom skills. The role gives you the chance to work in a variety of school environments, covering lessons across different subjects.

Experience working with children is preferred but not essential — we welcome applicants from all backgrounds who are confident, reliable, and enthusiastic about supporting young people.

You would be paid from £90–£110 per day, dependent on experience and school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
