 Pay Rate: £110-£120 per day
 Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
 Contract: Part-time – Start October 2025


About the Role

Join a Supportive Secondary School in Monmouthshire as a Part-time Cover Supervisor!

Teaching Personnel is working with a welcoming secondary school in the Monmouthshire area to recruit a passionate part-time Cover Supervisor. In this role, you’ll support students by delivering pre-set lessons across various subjects when teachers are absent. You don’t need to be a subject expert — just someone who can keep students engaged, focused, and on track!

You’ll be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment, managing behaviour effectively, and ensuring students understand what’s expected of them. Each day brings something new, offering the chance to build strong relationships with learners and gain valuable classroom experience.

  • Familiar with key curriculum subjects
  • Follows safeguarding procedures and takes registers accurately

Requirements

Teaching Personnel can provide guidance to help you obtain:

  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Level 2 Safeguarding training
  • At least two professional references covering the past two years
