Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Cover Supervisor on behalf of a secondary school in Central Manchester. We are seeking an individual to supervise lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 lessons. As a cover supervisor you will be required work on an ad-hoc basis, working part-time on a daily basis. As a Cover Supervisor you can have the option to be flexible.

This Cover Supervisor role would ideally suit an individual wanting to gain more experience to eventually enter a career in teaching, or someone who has previous experience working with young people and would like to develop their career in this field. The role is a part-time position and will be on-going throughout the academic year. The Cover supervisor role commences immediately, so please apply ASAP.

As a cover supervisor you must be:

**Punctual and be able to commute to the school in central Manchester

**Present yourself in a professional manner and ensure students are following school policy

**Interested in teaching and supporting students within secondary schools.

**Experience in managing behaviour by working with young people

**Willing to be flexible and reliable when called upon.

Thee school has nearby tram and bus stops as it is located in central Manchester. It also has a staff car park and staff bicycle shelter. The students are aged between 11-16 and can be challenging so you will need good behaviour management skills and have confidence in the classroom. There are students from disadvantaged backgrounds so you will need to be approachable and emphatic.
