Cover Supervisor

Teaching Personnel are seeking experienced and hardworking Cover Supervisors with a keen interest in developing their skills in teaching to work within secondary schools in Ludgershall.

The successful candidates would be working with students with varying abilities and some challenging behaviour, pupils ages range from 11-16 and sometimes further education.  

Suitable candidates must be available Monday to Friday and be willing to travel within Ludgershall and the surrounding areas.

You will be required to supervise whole classes during short-term absence of the teachers, you will also need to be able to use your initiative to support student learning throughout various classes when not required to cover lessons.

Pay: £85 - £100.

You will ideally:

• Have a degree and/or relevant experience of working in a school setting.
• Have recent experience of teaching or supporting in a classroom in the UK.
• Be able to show good behaviour and classroom management skills.
• Be happy to cover classes across Key stage 3 & 4.

You must have a clear Child Workforce DBS registered to the DBS Update Service or be willing to submit one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
