Cover Supervisor – Secondary School – Leyland

Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Full-time, term time only

Role Responsibilities:

Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences

Ensure students remain on task and complete pre-set work

Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies

Provide support to departments and assist with administrative tasks when required

Contribute to the wider school community
About You:

Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils is desirable
-
Confident in managing classroom behaviour and engaging students
-
Adaptable, proactive, and able to use your initiative
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A genuine interest in supporting young people’s learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
