Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to students in the absence of a regular teacher.
  • Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Provide support and guidance to students, assisting them in their learning journey.
  • Uphold school policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of behaviour and discipline.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure a smooth transition between lessons and maintain continuity in learning.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Preferably, a degree in a relevant subject or a teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of various ages and abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to cover a range of subjects.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
