Position: Cover Supervisor

Location: Hatfield

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to work in Schools in and around Hatfield to help support our clients during staff absence.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of schools by supervising and managing classes during the short-term absence of teachers. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment, managing student behaviour, and ensuring that the curriculum is delivered effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage classrooms during the absence of Teachers
  • Follow lesson plans provided by absent teachers
  • Manage student behaviour and address any issues that may arise
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide feedback to regular teaching staff on students’ progress
  • Collaborate with other cover supervisors and teaching staff as needed

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualifications are not required but experience within Teaching, Leading or coaching groups of students is ideal
  • Any qualifications in specific subjects are ideal
  • Good classroom management
  • Adaptable and Flexible to work with all ages, and skills
  • A child only enhanced DBS
  • An overseas police clearance (if applicable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
