Are you looking to gain classroom experience, work flexibly, and make a real difference in local secondary schools? We're looking for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor based in Fowey who is available for day-to-day supply work.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom in the absence of the teacher, ensuring students stay on task and engaged with pre-set work. This is a fantastic opportunity for:

  • Graduates considering a career in teaching

  • Experienced Cover Supervisors

  • Teaching Assistants looking to take the next step

  • Individuals with experience working with young people in other settings

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • A calm, confident, and professional manner

  • Flexibility and reliability – sometimes calls come in on the day

  • Ideally, experience working with secondary-age students (11–16)

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
